The fifth Procol Harum studio album, 1971's BROKEN BARRICADES, contains the track "Song for a Dreamer," written by band member Robin Trower, who also handled the vocals for the song. Normally, the PH lyrics were written by Keith Reid and the main vocals were sung by fellow band mate, Gary Brooker. But for "Song for a Dreamer," Trower did the lyrics and vocals. It was his tribute to Jimi Hendrix. Jimi is given an acknowledgment at the end of this video.
Chris Copping & B.J. Wilson rounded out the Procol Harum band.
